Question: I’m debating over whether to have Bellafill or a temporary filler. I know Bellafill lasts 5 years but wonder if I should try a temporary filler first to see if I like the results?
Answer: Firstly, if you are going to have Bellafill, it is important to seek an expert Bellafill injector. Of course, seeking a skilled injector is important for any filler treatment, but even more so when using long-term fillers.
In my experience with performing a high volume of Bellafill treatments for many years, I find that not only can Bellafill last 5 years, but as a collagen stimulator, Bellafill also gives a more natural appearance than hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane. It is because of Bellafill’s collagen stimulatory properties that patients often notice that the results can look even better over time.
Bellafill is also unique in that it is a very versatile filler. I use Bellafill nearly everywhere on the face including the cheeks, lower lid hollows, nasolabial smile lines, temples, marionette lines and chin. Bellafill can also be useful in the treatment of depressed scars and aged hands with volume loss. Most temporary fillers cannot be used in such a broad range of areas.
A comprehensive consultation with a board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon who is also a BellaDiamond injector is the first step in helping you to decide if you are an optimal candidate for Bellafill rejuvenation.
